"Title: Maa-chan party" Description: Some of my earliest works back in the
early 90s. My family was away in Japan for an extended stay and I was alone
in the states. I needed something to keep me out of trouble and since they
were on my mind constantly this is what I came up with.

"Title:The Ebi(shrimp) and Tsuru(crane)" Description: These are my
copies of works that my mother-in-law did a long time ago. She is a talented
artist as well as a ranking Tea Ceremony and Flower Arangement teacher. The
style is a kind of typical Japanese art done with writing brushes and ink.
"Title: The Name Train" Description: When my son was born this was the name chosen by his mother. I took one look at the Kanji and saw a train engine. He has loved trains ever since.
"Title: Holding Hands" Description: What can I say, I'm an incurable
romantic. On one of my wife's trips home to Japan, I missed her so much that
I felt I needed a visual reminder of her close to me.
"Title: Hello Kitty Kite" Description: Now I can't leave my daugher out so I asked her last year what she wanted for her birthday and she said a kite.
So I asked her what she wanted on the kite and now you know. I will finish
it off soon with a long flowing rainbow colored tail. All the material is nylon and the design was done all free hand. When completed it will actually fly or hang nicely across the ceiling of her bedroom.
