Mimi and Jitoro's page

This is Mimi chan. He is a pedigreed chinchila cat, but was abandoned by his owner possibly because he was found feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) positive. His former owner came to my house carrying the cage, in which Mimi was, and simply left him like a rubbish.

At that time he had severe diarrhea, but now he is healthy except some slight skin trouble. For the skin trouble steroid is effective, too. He is such a handsome and tame cat that everyone loves him. His speciality is jumping on my shoulder while I'm doing some kitchin works and stay on my neck quite long. So I feel as if I had a gorgeous fur muffler, though it isn't so nice in summer.

He is probably four years old now.
This is Jitoro. I found him when I went for a walk with my dogs in the fall of 2001. He was so skinny and weak that he could barly walk. I could easily pick him up and put in my jacket. At home I found that he was also suffering upper respiratory infection (URI) and parasites.

Now he is very healthy and big, with the help of the veterinarian. You can see how big he is, compering to Hana chan. Hana chan is a quite big dog.

Jitoro and Hana are good friends. I think Jitoro is grateful to Hana, since Hana was the one who found him on a field.
